Pilanesberg Safaris North West
Pilanesberg national park is located in the northwest province in South Africa. The park boarders with the famous Sun city. The area is fringed by three concentric ridges of rings of hills, of which the formation rises from the surrounding plains.Pilanesberg is named after a Tswana chief, Pilane, pilanesberg alkaline ring complex is the parks primary geological feather. This vast circular geological feather is ancient even by geological standards as its crate of long extinct volcano and the result of eruption some 1200 million years ago. The parks is famous for its big five including lions, buffalos, rhinos, leopards and elephants and park also has 360 birds species and more than 100 mammals species.
